Great Salt Lake! July 9, 2009
We might be heading in the opposite direction, but it’s worth it! I mean, this is the GREAT SALT LAKE, people!
Utah has been interesting so far. Everything is named “Deseret,” which means “honeybee,” and is the symbol of the LDS church. Even the Utah state highway signs are shaped like honeybee nests–definitely the cutest state signs I’ve ever seen! Lol.
So we decided that we MUST see the Great Salt Lake. The best beaches are supposed to be at Antelope Island, so we are headed across the looooong bridge.
