After what turned out to be more like a 40 minute wait, we sat down and found –get this!–an entire section of the menu devoted to hollandaise sauces!

First we saw a chalkboard outside of an unadorned brick front, boasting orange pancakes with raspberry syrup. Then we saw a table outside with free coffee. Theeeen we found out there was at least an half hour wait for a table. Geesh! What’re two hungry Amazons and a baby to do?!

The groups involved in the parade were pretty varied–they ranged from public service people like firefighters to a Massage Envy truck mimicing massage therapy (which was just weird and hilarious) and a hare Krishna group.
