Burgers for Dinner July 3, 2009
Just a stones throw away from our campsite there was a small burger joint, all walk up or drive through. We joined a throng of hungry 4th of July partiers and waited for burgers and gigantic soft serve ice cream cones.
Cascade Locks, Oregon: Making Camp July 3, 2009
Well it’s our first night here. We don’t know the area too well, so we decided to just stay at the Cascade Locks Marina camp area.
The camp area is right on the river, and plenty of people are out fishing. Nothing fancy, just a patch of grass near the river at the marina.
The only bad part about staying here is that there are trains coming by every hour, at least! It wasn’t a very restful nights sleep, but it did the trick.
Woodburn memories 2 July 3, 2009
My favorite is Jarritos mango flavored soda. If I’ve got that, then I’ll eat whatever. Today I had a quesadilla with beef tongue and lots of hot peppers.
